It's been almost four months since the last edition of "From the Taxi Driver's Seat." There are many night shots and twilight shots in this collection -
due to the fact that in the early part of the winter many of my taxi shifts were done without any daylight. Some nights I began my shift earlier and
had a short amount of daylight.
I hate getting stuck in traffic on Powell Street. But in this case it gave me
the opportunity to photograph the happy kid on the cable car in front of me. I took this shot through the windshield.

I know this shot is not sharp, but I like this image of the man playing the violin on the streetcorner- so I decided to use the image.

Unfortuately it happened after midnight and I missed the deadline for the morning edition of the San Francisco Chronicle.
